The 20th annual plenary conference was held as an online event on 24-26 June 2022, hosted by the Department of Music, School of Film, Music and Theatre, University College Cork.
The keynote paper was given by Shana L. Redmond, Professor of English and Comparative Literature and the Center for the Study of Ethnicity & Race, Columbia University: Dark Prelude: Listening to Minoritized Life.
During the conference, the inaugural awards were made for the Danijela Kulezic-Wilson Book Prize and the Aloys Fleischmann Prize.
