1st Annual Plenary Conference, Maynooth, 2-3 May 2003

The first Annual Plenary Conference of the SMI was hosted by the Department of Music, National University of Ireland, Maynooth, on 2-3 May 2003.

The keynote speaker was Professor Derek Scott (University of Sheffield), whose lecture was entitled 'From the Erotic to the Demonic: Scaling the Heights and Plumbing the Depths of Musicology’.
