The SMI's 15th annual postgraduate students' conference was a joint event with the Irish National Committee of the International Council for Traditional Music, held online owing to the continuation of the Covid-19 pandemic. It took place on 14-15 January 2022, hosted by Dublin City University.
The keynote address was given by Dr Áine Mangaoang (University of Oslo): Prisons of Note: Mapping Music in Prisons from the Periphery.
