The 4th Annual Plenary Conference of the SMI was hosted by the Department of Music, Mary Immaculate College, Limerick, on 5-7 May 2006.
The keynote speaker was Professor William E. Caplin (McGill University, Montreal), whose lecture was entitled 'A Mozartean Limerick: some thoughts on form, function, and musical time’.
