On Friday 8 March the Society for Musicology in Ireland will host a special symposium on the funding landscape for music research in Ireland. Presented in association with Dublin City University, the symposium aims to highlight funding opportunities as well as challenges for Ireland-based musicologists and other music scholars in advancing individual and collaborative research portfolios. It brings together the expertise and experience of national contact points for Irish and European funding agencies and of recent awardees and mentors for projects funded by IRC, SFI-IRC, MSCA, ERC, Horizon Europe Cluster 2, AHRC, New Foundations and Erasmus+.
